Rihanna and her boyfriend Chris Brown Sued by Photographer

RihannaChris Brown and are sued by a photographer who is demanding compensation after he was allegedly beaten by the singers' bodyguards for taking their picture. The photographer, Luis Santana, has filed a $1 million lawsuit in Florida on Tuesday, December 2, claiming the R'n'B singers' bodyguards forced him to the ground and stole his $3,000 camera outside the Vintage Ultra Lounge in St. Petersburg, where Chris celebrated his 19th birthday back in May.

According to Luis, he took a picture of Rihanna and Chris through their limousine window on May 6. However, bodyguards for the singers allegedly beat him and stole his camera. And now the photographer is asking for compensation for his stolen camera, as well as his own personal injuries and distress, according to The St. Petersburg Times.

"I do believe that this matter is completely blown out of proportion and I strongly believe that we need to focus on the positive things in the world - not the negative things... Sadly, we are living in a full-blown recession during this holiday season of giving - so let us try to give attention to the positive things in the world and focus on God and our families," Rihanna's publicist said.
